The Role
What You Would Do
As a General Automotive Technician at Kubin, you handle a little bit of everything that rolls through the bay. This is hands-on general repair work, not a specialty desk. You diagnose the problem, explain what you found, and do the job the right way the first time. No sales quotas, no pressure to upsell.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and hands-on inspection
- Perform brake service: pads, rotors, calipers, and fluid
- Service suspension and steering: shocks, struts, tie rods, and ball joints
- Handle engine and A/C repair, from diagnostics to component replacement
- Complete fluid services, filters, belts, hoses, and general maintenance
- Keep clear notes so we can explain the work honestly to each customer
What We Look For
- Automotive repair experience, or a genuine willingness to learn the trade
- A valid driver's license and a clean, safe driving habit
- Your own basic hand tools are a plus, not a requirement
- ASE certification is a plus and not required to apply
- Reliable, honest, and comfortable talking straight with customers
- Able to work Monday through Friday during shop hours
